Academic Program

Curriculum

At Poorna Vikasa Vidyalaya, the CBSE curriculum forms the academic backbone, ensuring rigorous standards, comprehensive coverage of subjects, and preparation for national-level examinations. But at PVV, we go beyond textbooks. Our Holistic Pathways Approach empowers learners to Explore their interests, Discover new passions, Grow intellectually and emotionally, and Excel in every sphere of life. The curriculum is designed to balance academic excellence with experiential learning, critical thinking, creativity, and life skills.

Learner Progression Stages

At Poorna Vikasa Vidyalaya (PVV), education is a journey of the mind and spirit β€” where every learner is encouraged to Explore, Discover, Grow, and Excel. Each stage of schooling builds upon the previous one, ensuring a seamless and holistic learning continuum.

Pre-Primary (Ages 3 to 5 years)

At the foundation stage, children are encouraged to explore the world around them through play, imagination, and sensory experiences.

The program nurtures early literacy, numeracy, motor, and social skills through activity-based learning. Stories, music, art, and free expression lay the groundwork for joyful discovery and confident communication β€” preparing children for a lifelong love of learning.

Primary School (Classes 1 to 5 | Ages 6 to 10 years)

In the Primary years, learners discover the joy of understanding concepts and making meaningful connections.

The curriculum blends inquiry-based learning with values and life skills, encouraging curiosity and creativity. Learners are guided to express themselves confidently, work collaboratively, and build habits of responsibility and respect β€” embodying the spirit of discovery in every lesson.

Middle School (Classes 6 to 8 | Ages 11 to 13 years)

As learners grow, the Middle School program deepens academic engagement and fosters critical thinking.

The curriculum framework is implemented through hands-on learning, projects, and interdisciplinary connections that develop analytical ability and problem-solving skills. This phase also focuses on personal development, empathy, and leadership, nurturing learners who are balanced in thought and action.

Secondary School (Classes 9 and 10 | Ages 14 to 15 years)

The Secondary School years are a time to excel β€” academically, emotionally, and socially.

Learners are guided through rigorous preparation for CBSE Board Examinations while also being encouraged to apply learning meaningfully. The emphasis is on clarity of concepts, disciplined study habits, and confident expression.

Through mentoring and reflection, learners identify their strengths and develop resilience to face future challenges with confidence.

Senior Secondary School (Classes 11 and 12 | Ages 16 to 18 years)

The Senior Secondary program empowers learners to pursue excellence in their chosen streams β€” Science or Commerce.

With a focus on higher-order thinking, research, and application, learners are prepared for competitive exams, higher studies, and future careers. Expert faculty and guidance programs help them connect classroom learning with real-world aspirations.

At this stage, PVV learners embody the school’s philosophy β€” to explore opportunities, discover their purpose, grow with integrity, and excel in every endeavor.
